Olu Deniz Beach Turkey

Olu Deniz beach has to be one of the most famous parts of Turkey (it's close to the Greek island of Rhodes , which you can see in the distance on a clear day. ) The photo here is of Olu Deniz , which is famous for its year round outdoor activities . Paragliding, kayaking, microlighting and numerous other activities take place here . Above Olu Deniz, is also the start of the famous "Lycian way" hike to Antalya, which takes days to complete ! Skiing takes place during winter in the nearby ski resort .Year round flights operate to Dalaman airport which is only a 45 minutes drive from Fethiye , including Thomas cook airlines, British Airways and many others .Fethiye has a British consulate aswell as a good public infrastructure. It is located on the Mediterranean sea and has a very warm sunny Mediterranean climate.
